The KLM Parachute Kit mounts to factory OEM points on the X3M and X4M, so adding a chute doesn't mean cutting into the rear of the truck or fabricating one-off brackets. Bolt-on, no chassis modification.
The X3M and X4M make a strong case for a chute earlier than most people assume. S58 power plus AWD traction gets these things down track quicker than the shape suggests, and there is a lot more mass to slow down at the far end than there is in a sedan. NHRA and IHRA require a single parachute for cars running 150 to 199 mph, and dual parachutes past 200 mph. Factory brakes on a two-ton SUV coming out of the traps are working well outside what they were designed for.
